Free Christmas ‘Treecycling’ for Wombourne

Free Christmas ‘Treecycling’ for Wombourne

It’s seen you through the whole of December and survived New Year, but what to do with your Christmas Tree now?

The good news is that instead of dragging it to the tip, you can now put your tree to good use.

Put your tree out with your green bin

South Staffs council have arranged for our used Christmas Trees to be collected when the first green bin collection is made in January.

Just place your tree beside your green bin and it will be taken away, free of charge.

The village does have different dates for the first green bin collection of 2019. To find out when your bin will be collected go to the council website and enter your postcode.

It’s good to know that your beautiful Christmas friend will be recycled and put to good use!
