Calling all 13 – 24 year olds! Volunteer to help the Summer Reading Challenge at Your Library

 

The Summer Reading Challenge starts on 15th July. This year the theme is Animal Agents!

Volunteering as a Library Reading Hack will offer you opportunities to run children’s activities, organise events, and help develop reading with young children.

  • Get experience to add to your CV and talk about in interviews
  • Meet new people
  • It’s a great way to support your local library and community
  • You’ll be helping children develop a love of reading
  • Your volunteering hours can contribute to Duke of Edinburgh, Arts Award and other accreditations
  • Have your say in what your library offers young people
  • Have fun!
