I have just been to a site allocations meeting with South Staffs Council. Apparently, more houses are needed to help with the UK’s growing population.
Here’s a map of some of the proposed building areas. The council asked for it to be clear that these are options and choices, they will not all be built upon.

At the meeting in the village, people were asked to vote via stickers to saw which they preferred for future development and which they did not support. This it what it looked like by the end of the day:

All the plans and documents are available online at www.sstaffs.gov.uk/siteallocations. There are hard copies in Solutions at the Council Offices in Codsall and also at libraries, parish council offices and leisure centres in South Staffordshire.

You must submit your views by 5pm on Monday 19th May 2014 at the latest. This is a formal consultation stage, so your comments must be made in writing.
