Local artwork defaced

I was so so saddened to see these images of the beautiful artwork over the railway defaced this week.

These pieces take so much time and effort, and really improved the surroundings. Its sad they only lasted a short time.

It would be great if we could get these cleaned as a community. It would honor the artist who worked hard to create them as well as not accepting that some people who do not appreciate or care would have the opportunity to spoil things for the many.

Whoever you are out there…creating is always more satisfying than defacing. Our village is beautiful and its special living in a still relatively small, friendly, rural place. Let’s keep it that way.
