Its always this time of year that we start getting invites to parties in book-bags after school. I thought it would be great to showcase some of the great businesses in the village that we can recommend that can get you party ready without a hitch.
Party planning – We have used Jammy Splodgers and think they are amazing. They can plan and deliver an entire party from start to finish or just provide decorations and props. Their website and party ideas are well worth a look.
Cakes – Every birthday needs a amazing cake. Helen Beeston-May makes a fantastic selection of cake styles and can decorate them to order.

Party bags are also a big deal…there is a great company called Midget Gems locally that can source and create party bags for your theme or group.
Activities –
We love The Animal Man for a great local kids party. He has a great range of animals, and interacts well with children of all ages.
