The Summer Reading Challenge starts on 15th July. This year the theme is Animal Agents!
Volunteering as a Library Reading Hack will offer you opportunities to run children’s activities, organise events, and help develop reading with young children.
- Get experience to add to your CV and talk about in interviews
- Meet new people
- It’s a great way to support your local library and community
- You’ll be helping children develop a love of reading
- Your volunteering hours can contribute to Duke of Edinburgh, Arts Award and other accreditations
- Have your say in what your library offers young people
- Have fun!
