As darkness falls, Christingle candles are lit in the church and the air tingles with seasonal wonder.
In air of the Children’s Society Christingle provides the perfect accompaniment to the special pre-Christmas period.
It’s held a couple of weeks before Christmas to enable families to be able to have some special time together before the craziness of Christmas really sets in. Oranges with sweets surrounding them and a candle genre-light are the focus of the service (and you get to eat the sweets too!).
This special service will be held at St. Benedict Bishop Church in the centre of Wombourne at 4pm on Sunday 10th December 2023.
Everyone is welcome, especially children of all ages and their families.
It really is a special Christmassy service.
