Wombourne band, The Regulars will be performing at the Wulfrun Hall next Friday 28th April.In the Battle of Bands. Four very talented lads from our village, Andy Gorton, Sam Dyehouse, Jack Cottis and Joe Tennant.
The Regulars were formed a few years ago during the guys time at Ounsdale High and Edgecliff schools.
The line up is:-
Andy Gorton (Guitarist / Vocals / Song Writer)
Ex Ounsdale High, Now Worcester University.
Andy also teaches music in the village when his busy timetable allows. Andy’s mum sings in a community choir called “Got 2 Sing” and has performed at the Symphony Hall in Birmingham last year and will be performing again at the Dudley Town Hall on Saturday 10th May. Andy’s sister Hayley plays piano, completing the musical family
Jack Cottis (Guitarist / Vocals)
Ounsdale High final year.
Jack also comes from a musical family, mom sings, dad is musical, brother plays drums/guitar, and granddad used to lend his instruments to Robert Plant before he was in Led Zeppelin, generally a very musical family.
Sam Dyehouse (Base Guitarist / Vocal)
Sam also comes from a family involved with music, his dad is a guitarist in a Pink Floyd tribute band, with regular performances at the Theatre On The Steps in Bridgnorth, amongst many other venues.
Joe Tennant (Drummer)
Has been playing the drums for about 4 years, and interested in producing music, he has just started to produce his own electronic music”

WCH Concerts proudly presents Battle of the Bands 2014. The Finals at the Wulfrun Hall Wolverhampton onFriday 25th April 2014. Special guest judges that will be joining us are none other than Brian Tatler of Diamond Head and producer Gavin Monaghan.
The final five bands performing are Husk, Lynus, Mr George’s Famous Last Words, The Nics & The Regulars. The bands have been performing in the qualifying heats at the Slade Rooms, Wolverhampton.
