Disappointed that there will be fireworks as that means we cannot see the stsrt of the choir as our dog will be too terrified . Im not the only dog owner who wont be able to attend as my dog will be traumatised under the bed for a few hours….
A short firework display is by no means harrowing.
We have 4 dogs and plug in relaxing air fresheners do just fine with ours.
They might use silent fireworks – how do you know?
You can’t just expect loud fireworks and complain when you don’t know the details.
This year we shall be opening the shop till later showing all our christmas Holly wreaths, door garlands and holly balls. We shall be running a raffle in aid of WINGS. Also any sales over £5 will earn a return voucher for January with a 10%off offer.
Hi Debra

Hi Catherine
We’ve updated this now. Thanks.
Is there stall availability? Thanks
Hi, sounds like a great night planned, Abbiss will also be open late that night too
Hi Jess, we’ve added Abbiss now, thanks.
Why don’t you ask Shaun walker (Elvis) to put the lights on who has lived in wombourne a long time and has a lot of followers
Wombourne light switch on is always a prestigious event. The Vine is proud to announce that we have a live acoustic session from 9:30pm with Phil Short. We also have Christmassy Cupcakes on Sale and a delicious Christmas Spiced Shiraz Mulled Wine, Cask Ales, wines, beers and some stunning combinations of G&T’s.. That’s not all, there will also be a raffle available to win a lovely Christmas Hamper (all proceedings will be donated to Wings Charity in Wombourne) Here’s a bit about Phil.. Phil Short is a singer/guitarist from South London, UK. He has performed all over the UK and abroad, at prestigious venues such as Leeds Castle, Brands Hatch, Castle Howard and The National Indoor Arena, and for many well-known clients such as Virgin Atlantic, John Lewis, Heineken and NATO.
Come and Join us and really get into the Christmas Spirit.
We hope to see you there!!
Hi. Do you need anyone to run the pa and lighting for the event?
Hi Andy
Probably best to contact the council for this. Thank you.
