Wombourne Christmas Lights Switch-on

It’s here! The Wombourne Christmas Lights Switch-On will take place at 6pm on Friday 24th November 2023.

Gather outside the Civic Centre at 5.40pm as Wombourne High School Choir treat us to some festive tunes to get us in the mood.

The magical lights countdown starts just before 6pm with a fireworks spectacular as the lights are switched on (please think carefully before brings your pets, they can be very frightened by the fireworks).

There’s entertainment to follow around the village, shops will be open for refreshments and some Christmas shopping and why not enjoy a homemade mince pie in front of the nativity at St. Benedict’s Church?

Whatever your plans, get to the village early and wrap up warm. The latest weather forecast is for it to be dry but chilly, perfect for the start of Christmas.
