According to RightMove, which is one of the most popular property portals online, most of the sales in Wombourne during 2016 were semi-detached properties which on average sold for £182,254.
They also said that detached properties had an average sold price of £265,719 and terraced properties averaged at £160,588.
Wombourne, with an overall average price of £198,701, was similar in terms of sold prices to nearby Wall Heath (£198,405), but was more expensive than Penn (£185,828) and cheaper than Bobbington (£286,000).
In the past year house prices in Wombourne were similar to the year before and 8% down on 2007 when they averaged at £216,359.
