You may be dreaming of a white Christmas, but that’s exactly what it will remain this year in Wombourne; a dream!

Latest forecasts suggest that high pressure is going to be building across England during Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Light winds under the area of high pressure will allow for conditions to become rather misty with some fog. There will probably be plenty of cloud too, this breaking slowly to allow a few bright or sunny spells to come through.

Temperatures are likely to be close to average at around 7 or 8C. There could be a touch of frost overnight, but generally too much cloud is expected for anything severe.

‘Rather murky’ is probably how best to described the Christmas weather in Wombourne.
