It wont be long now until the Wombourne Carnival and guess what …

The Lorries and Floats are back!

You will no doubt have noticed they were missing last year (for reasons we won’t go into here).

Organisers been offered the use of five flatbacked lorries for the Carnival and subject to insurance and other legalities they will have lorries for the main Carnival procession again this year.

Hopefully this will now put to rest rumours that abounded last year that the carnival has no procession or is closing down for good!
